Covid has made this winter even longer than usual.  It was SUCH a delight to get to be out on a lovely (though cloudy) morning with several of the trees around us in full blossom, and I could not have asked for a more adorable family to be working with.  I last had them in front of my lens when their little one was a newborn, and now she’s almost two!  Not only has she grown a ton, but she is REALLY coming into her own as far ay, so s her personality is concerned.  She’s super verbal and we had a great time chatting.  She was absolutely fascinated by the clock tower striking the hour (asking oh so politely as she gazed up at it “please again!”.  She was full of beans, so we played a lot of high energy games during this session and also spent a fair amount of time just following her interests — a child-led session, especially with a child this young is a great way to get authentic connection and expressions, and keep everyone happy throughout the session.  At one point, there was a building she decided was “nice building” and was clearly absolutely fascinated by, so we wandered over there and she was happy as a clam!  Here are a few of my favorites from our time together.  If you’d like to capture your family’s magic in a comfortable and authentic way, drop me a line and we’ll get you on the schedule!
