Fall Family Portraits | Lexington, MA
2020 has been a year of a lot of change, but one of the things that hasn’t changed is that I got to see these lovely folks for their fall family portraits. This is the third year I’ve photographed them, and I always look forward to their session. This year, their kids had grown SO much. Their youngest had grown about a foot taller it seemed, and their oldest had grown up some physically, but was also just so much more grown up in the conversations we had during the session (and the jokes he made — the kid is *excellent* at puns, which I appreciate as they are my very favorite kind of joke!).
One of the things I love about my job is that it’s always a little different each time — even with the same family, we play different games, we pick a different spot for their session, and the kids are at a different developmental moment.
When I sent this gallery, mom almost immediately posted the following with some of her favorites, and it made me so happy because capturing the heart and soul of the children and families I work with is absolutely my main goal:
Cannot Mira Whiting Photography enough! 😍😍😍 Heart and soul of my kids, right there.
Here are my favorites from our time together, and I can’t wait to see what next year brings:
